Wisdom Cries Out
Good morning,
Psalm 8 declares, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of mân that You visit him?”
Out of Proverbs 8:5 we read that, “Wisdom cries out you simple ones, understand prudence, and you fools be of an understanding heart.”
In verse 35 Wisdom declares, “For whoever’s finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.”
Remember, God’s word instructs that there is a world of difference between favor and favoritism. So many today do not seek the Lord’s favor, rather, they merely want His favoritism which they perceive incorrectly to be love. Trué love shows favor and never favoritism. However, while God does not play favorites His favor rests upon all who keep His ways, His precepts. Stay to it! We will overcome this world through Christ alone
