So many people today try to destroy God’s Word. God is who He says He is. One cannot just pick and choose what they like about His Word. Whether one recognizes it or not, all are called to live by His Word. The book of Genesis is under attack constantly by evolutionists and others. Even if one was not a Christian, God’s Word was recognized as the world’s history book up until 1950. Suddenly, God’s Word is questioned while Evolution has yet to have one thing proven to validate it. The Bible has been proven to be true since the beginning of time and yet has a flaw to be found within. In Psalm 138:2, it says, “I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” This is something we can have confidence in. His Word is magnified above His very name. If we question God’s Word, we smear and destroy His very name. In Luke 19:40, it says, ““I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.” The idea is, if no one declares the truth of God and the entire world were to remain silent, creation itself would declare God’s truth. The Lord will be magnified, lifted up and praised. His truth will be revealed and stands despite what others say. We will never be a disciple of Jesus if we question the very Word of God in any way from the biggest to the simplest of things. Truth is no emotion and God’s Word is not up for debate. Be encouraged, stand firm in the truth of God, and stay in His steps.
