Struggling to Play Barre Chords?
Are you struggling to play barre chords and cannot get a good crisp, smooth sound to play? What if I could tell you that you could play your favorite song today with a chord, you already know. To prove my point we will be taking one of the hardest barre chords, in my opinion, the Eb.
Alternative “C” Barre Chord
Joseph Allen here. Today, we are going to be taking just a simple little “C”chord for the guitar tip, Guit-Tip, of the day. Play just a regular “C” chord. There are no tricks here and nothing fancy. Normally a “C” chord is played with your first, second, and third fingers. However, we are going to use our second, third, and fourth fingers. We are going to slide up the neck not one, not two, but three frets. Now, we are going to place our first finger on the “G” String of the third fret. Now, we will strum down. Be sure do NOT hit the low or high “E” strings. You could even just slightly mute them with some of your hand or fingers if you struggle to miss them. This will allow you to play an Eb chord with just a regular “C” chord. This is an Eb with just a “C” chord.
