There a several factors that cause this. You will also learn my favorite capos on the market that do not stink from a list of 40 different capos. We also break down which capos are right for different guitars and alternate tunings.
I will also break down a few alternate tunings. The two tunings I cover are whole step and half step tunings. I use examples of how professional artists in CCM music use them like Steven Curtis Chapman and others.

In this document I list out capos and which guitars they work well with and where you can buy them. Certain capos work better for certain guitars. To achieve the best intonation your guitar can have, certain capos will work better. Some capos sound better on acoustic, some on electric, some on classical guitars, some in alternate tunings, and some on 12 strings.
