Do Not be Envy Envious
Good morning,
Many people who claim that they follow Christ’s way only dial in when they are experiencing difficulties. It is the dialing in on seemingly unimportant things, in drudgeries, and when things are going well that will bring about change, The Lord knows we will call when we have problems, but do we see Him in the here and now? Do we follow His ways recognizing He is the Maker of all things?
Proverbs 24:1 says, “Do not be envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them.”
For just such a reason I stay away from universities, mainstream media, politics and their “ticians”, and even sports as much as is possible. Most of these people do not follow Christ’s way. Instead of walking humbly, they are arrogant using these things as activists for ungodliness and influencing the weak minded, even teaching school children they can choose to be boys or girls.
Proverbs 24:24-25 says of just such people, “He who says to the wicked, ‘You are righteous, him will the people curse; nations will abhor him. But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.”
Learn from Jesus! For His yoke is easy and His burden light.
